Nigerian idol from Multichoice is a reality TV series which searches for young talented individuals.
As a TV singing competition, Nigerian Idol accepts applicants between the ages of 18 and 28 years.
30 eligible Nigerians are selected and go against each other through singing with the winner going home with a price gift to the tone of 50Million naira (depending on the stakes from Multichoice).
Nigerian idol 2021 date is March 14, 2021 with the audition venues at Port Harcourt, Abuja, Lagos and Enugu.
Prizes for Nigerian Idol Winner
Nigeria idol Registration Audition starting date and venue have been disclosed on the official website.
The aim is to birth superstars which have been the norm from inception.
- N7,500,000 cash price
- A recording contract with Sony
- An SUV Jeep
- An all Expense Paid Trip to South Africa
- Other remunerations from 3rd parties based on publicity
Eligibility
Below are some requirements to qualify for the Nigerian Idol Singing competition by Multichoice.
- Nationality: You must be a Nigerian or a resident of Nigeria
- Age: Must be between the ages of 18 and 28 years to apply
- Association: Those who have a previous association or participated in either of the past seasons cant apply

- Submit a 30sec video online and send it to the Nigerian Idol team
- You will be contacted if your video meets the requirement.
