The Direct Short Service Course (DSSC) is not just for graduates but some of the below-listed requirements and guidelines need to be observed.

  • Nationality – Interested applicants must be a Nigerians by birth
  • Academic Qualification – Applicant must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (BSc/BA Degree) and Upper Credit for HND holders.
  • Height / Measurement – Male applicant’s height must not be less than 1.68 meters while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 metres in height.
  • NYSC – You must have completed the mandatory NYSC scheme with NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate
  • Age Gap – Applicant must be between the ages of 22 and 28 years by 2021.
  • Age Exemptions – Imams/Chaplains/Medical Consultants must not exceed 30 years and 40 years respectively by 2021.
